Purpose

The Texas Institute for Electronics is looking for an Ops & Maintenance Lead to support the startup and operation of a semiconductor manufacturing facility. As the O&M Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and reliability of critical facility systems that support the semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will lead a team to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted facility operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the operations and maintenance of all fab facility systems, including electrical, HVAC, water, gas, chemical, vacuum, and control systems.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability in coordination with Facility Engineers.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alarms, faults, and emergencies to ensure continuous facility support for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, EHS, and manufacturing teams to support facility upgrades, retrofits, and expansions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, SOPs, equipment manuals, and compliance records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and internal operational protocols.
