About IPSDCaterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines, but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary:

We are seeking a Control Systems Team Lead. This person will provide team leadership, resource planning, project planning and budgeting in the Design, development, and enhancement of engine and aftertreatment systems to optimize products and system.

What You Will Do:

Provides team leadership, project planning, budgeting and resource planning in Designing advanced engine / aftertreatment control systems and integrating electrical and mechanical components & systems through simulation and test.

Designing and implementing software and calibration procedures to control and enhance electro-mechanical system performance in collaboration with subject matter experts and performance partners.

Identifying and addressing areas of product weakness in finished products.

Degree Requirement Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Agriculture) or Computer Science curriculum.
