Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This role demands a good knowledge of all Debt funding products, SME IPO, Banking relations, NBFC relations, knowledge on govt and MSME subsidies, collaborations with banks to sign MOU, DPR preparation, good management skills, team player, identifying private lenders.
Responsibilities- Debt Funding & Structured Finance:
Drive debt financing initiatives across working capital loans, term loans, and structured solutions, engaging banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and private lenders. Ensure optimal deal structure and negotiation. - SME IPO Management:
Lead SME IPO processes—from DPR preparation and SEBI compliance to IPO execution and post-issue liaison—ensuring smooth collaboration with merchant bankers. - Banking & NBFC Relationships:
Establish and maintain strong ties with banks and NBFCs. Negotiate MOUs and manage lender relations to enable competitive credit facilities. - Government & MSME Subsidy Utilization:
Identify, evaluate, and execute government schemes and subsidies relevant to MSMEs. Coordinate grant applications and utilization certificates where required. - DPR & Financial Modelling:
1. Draft comprehensive Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) in support of bankable financing, investor green lights, or strategic planning.
2. DPRs must include:
Executive Summary;
Project Justification;
Market & Technical Feasibility;
Financial Projections;
Risk Management;
Implementation Plan;
Appendices.
3. Build detailed financial models, break-even / IRR analyses, ROI forecasts, and funding schedules.
4. Develop financial projections, break-even analysis, ROI estimates, and funding requirement schedules. - Collaboration & Revenue Generation:
1. Work closely with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient investment process.
2. Provide virtual CFO services to external clients, contributing to the company’s revenue targets. - Team Leadership &
Collaboration:
Manage cross-functional finance, investor-relations, and compliance teams. Facilitate internal coordination to align financial operations with strategic goals.
Education: Bachelor’s in Finance/Commerce/Accounting; MBA or CA/ICWA qualified preferred.
Experience: 8-10 years in corporate finance, preferably within NBFCs or SME finance sectors; strong exposure to debt raising and SME IPOs.
Technical Know How:
- Expertise in debt products, structured finance, and SME IPO channel.
- Familiarity with MSME subsidy schemes, government grant processes, and SEBI SME framework.
- Advanced financial modelling and DPR writing skills.
Core Skills & Attributes:
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare, negotiate, and sign MOUs with banks or partner institutions.
- Strong leadership presence, team orientation, initiative driven problem solving, and high integrity.
- Proficient with Excel, ERP/financial systems, and MIS dashboards.
- Should work under a high pressure work culture with target orientation and should demonstrate a Go GETTER attitude in getting work completed within the project matrix.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Proven track record in sourcing debt from banks, NBFCs, and private lenders.
- Experience managing government collaborations and MSME schemes.
- Hands-on involvement with SME IPO issuance or merchant banking activities.
- Strong DPR and financial model preparation history.
- Leadership skills and an ability to drive results in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
