Managing Director, Recruiter - Accounting & Finance Placement at CFS

International industrial company has a new opportunity due to growth for a Cost Accountant. Company has been in existence for 50+ years and specializes in products that help protect the environment. Company is highly innovative and an industry leader. Position will assist leadership with cost accounting, analysis and projects.

Salary:
Approximately $95,000- $110,000 + bonus based on experience

• Analyze data to determine costs such as raw material, labor and overhead
• Analyze impacts of changes in product design, raw material costs, manufacturing processes, and/or services, to determine effects on costs
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
• Provide leadership with analysis comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products/services
• Monitor the cost accounting process and provide guidance on improvements
• Calculate parts and manufacturing costs, inventory, actual costs and variance analysis
• Prepare cost estimates of new or special products establishing standard costs
• Assist with budgets, ad hoc and year end reporting
• Prepare various governmental and internal reports

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related
• Exposure/experience in Cost Accounting/Analysis
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
