Description
  • Educate customers on bank products and services, identify financial needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and refer customers to bank partners when specialized assistance is needed.
  • Process teller transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, and issuance of monetary instruments, in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers with opening, maintaining, and closing a variety of consumer and business deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates of deposit, money market, and other account types.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through cross-selling and referrals that align with customer goals and needs.
  • Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions daily, ensuring accuracy of cash, scanner reports, and operational records.
  • Monitor for suspicious or unusual activity and report concerns promptly in accordance with applicable regulations and bank procedures.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records, documentation, and reports to support audits, account maintenance, operational reviews, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with branch opening and closing procedures, including facility security, cash preparation, system readiness, and completion of required documentation.
  • Perform authorized overrides and approvals within assigned authority levels and in compliance with bank policies.
  • Assist with vault operations, cash recyclers, ITMs, cash ordering, branch cash levels, monetary instrument inventories, gift card inventories, and related controls.
  • Serve as a resource for teller staff by answering procedural questions, assisting with complex transactions, and promoting service and operational standards.
  • Provide operational leadership and support in the absence of the Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager to ensure continuity of branch operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Support compliance with bank policies, procedures, security requirements, and internal controls through daily operational oversight.
  • Assist with account maintenance, customer follow-up, trust documentation processing, and other administrative functions related to customer relationships and branch operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer service-related field is preferred.
  • Required Skills:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

  • Must be able to manage confidential information with discretion.
