We are looking to hire a Sonographer!
Responsibilities- Perform Ultrasound exams including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and other related Ultrasound procedures as necessary on scheduled or emergent basis and maintain related records
- Provide general assistance to the radiologist in interpreting studies
- Provide technical instruction to students and hospital staff
- Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, Values, Actions, and Promise in behaviors, practices, and decisions
- Day shift
- 32 hours per week
- 1 evening weekday call per week
- Every 4th weekend call
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
- If not registered, be board-eligible and become registered with ARDMS within one year of hire.
- ARDMS preferred but ARRT, or Cardiovascular Credentialing Internation (CCI) also accepted.
- Maintains active registry status with ARDMS (30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment).
- Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within six (6) months of hire and every three (3) years thereafter.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire and every two (2) years thereafter.
- $32.74 - $49.11
- Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles
