PT​/ATC or PTA​/ATC

Physical Therapist/ATC or Physical Therapy Assistant/ATC - Full-time

We are seeking a Physical Therapist/ATC or Physical Therapy Assistant/ATC to provide clinical care in a hospital setting while collaborating with the school system to offer access to injury assessments, treatments, and prevention strategies for local area athletes. This position involves working half-time in the hospital, providing physical therapy duties to patients in an outpatient setting, as well as treatments for inpatient hospital settings, primarily during morning hours.

Afternoon and evening hours will be dedicated to evaluating, treating, and managing rehabilitation of athletic injuries at home events and practice coverage, with some travel to away events for high school sports programs. The PT/ATC or PTA/ATC will serve as a liaison between the PCP or specialist and school administration, athletes, and parents/guardians.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant, as well as an Athletic Trainer in Illinois, or be eligible for licensure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Evidence of leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and listening skills.
