Anderson Hospital is seeking a PRN pediatric occupational therapist for our outpatient pediatric clinic. The occupational therapist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care through assessment, planning,, implementation and evaluation of patient and family needs within the parameters of the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act in order to deliver excellent patient care.

Anderson Pediatric Therapy Services offers a comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy program that is designed to assist children with their overall growth and development. The goal of these services is to improve a childs ability to perform daily tasks. The team of occupational therapists works closely with children and their parents or caregivers to develop the skills and abilities required to complete these activities independently.

• Fine motor and hand development

• Activities directed toward the child’s age-appropriate developmental milestones

• Executive functioning skills

Education Requirements and Other **
* Education
***** Graduate of a occupational therapy curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association

Certification/
***** Licensed in the State of Illinois

Experience
***** Preferred at least one year experience required in health care setting.

Other
***** Must be able to complete computer work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
