As a key member of our team, you'll:

• Operate x-ray and monitoring equipment while assisting physicians during procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Obtain consent and perform sterile assistance, recording and interpreting procedural data.
• Instruct technologists and participate in on-call rotations.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Radiology or equivalent training (if hired before September 1990).
• Licensure/Certification:
  • BLS required; ACLS preferred within 12-24 months of hire.
  • Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certificate.
  • Completion of a basic EKG class within one year of employment.
• Experience: At least one year of patient care experience.
• Skills: Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment.
