About the RoleAs a Cath Lab Procedure Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating x-ray equipment and monitoring ECGs
- Assisting physicians during catheterization procedures
- Maintaining sterile fields and ensuring radiation safety
- Participating in on-call rotations
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an approved School of Radiology or equivalent training
- Licensure/Certification:
- BLS required; ACLS preferred within 12-24 months of hire
- Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
- ARRT certification
- Completion of a basic EKG class within one year of employment
- Experience: One year of patient care experience
- Skills: Completion of radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment
