Housekeeping Laundry Aide

We are hiring a Per Diem housekeeper/laundry aide.

As part of the housekeeping department at Allure of Mount Carroll, your role is to help our residents make the most of their living space and to keep our residential and public spaces clean and attractive.

You will work with a hardworking dedicated team with a common goal to provide quality care through all services. This position gives you the opportunity to make a direct change in someone’s life.

A typical day includes working as part of a team to maintain a clean facility, including residents’ rooms, restrooms and community spaces. You’ll adhere to federal guidelines regarding safe chemical storage, contamination and housing inspections under guidance from your supervisor. Strong communication skills are helpful as you’ll work closely with your team and those you serve to schedule, complete and document daily processes.

As a Laundry Aide at Allure of Mount Carroll, your role is to help our residents make the most of their living space and to keep our residents personal clothing clean and accounted for.

A typical day includes working as part of a team to collect, clean, fold and deliver resident's personal items back to their rooms. You’ll adhere to federal guidelines regarding safe chemical storage, contamination and housing inspections under guidance from your supervisor. Strong communication skills are helpful as you’ll work closely with your team and those you serve to schedule, complete and document daily processes.

Per Diem is an "as needed" position. There is potential for growth as other potential positions open.
