Pool Attendant

Pay: $16 per hour
Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM

Venetian River Club is seeking a friendly, attentive, and dependable Pool Attendant to join our team. This position is focused on creating a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment for our members and their guests.

The ideal candidate is personable, responsible, observant, and enjoys interacting with people in a relaxed, resort-style setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing excellent member service, is comfortable working independently, and understands the importance of being attentive and responsive in a pool environment.

Located within a 1,000-acre, Northern Italian Renaissance-inspired gated community, Venetian River Club serves as the heart of the community. The Mediterranean-style clubhouse offers a variety of dining experiences, from fine and casual dining to a poolside tiki bar, along with year-round lifestyle programming. The Pool Attendant is responsible for helping maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment for members and guests. This role monitors pool access and compliance with club rules, assists members and guests with their needs, and helps ensure the pool area consistently meets the Club’s cleanliness, safety, and service standards.

• Greet and welcome guests to the pool area while consistently providing friendly and professional service.
• Monitor pool access by verifying pool passes, guest lists or other authorized access requirements.
• Enforce pool rules and guidelines, including restrictions such as no running, no glass containers, to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Conduct a walkthrough of the pool deck every 30 minutes to ensure the area remains clean, organized, free of debris and unattended items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the pool area.
• Assist guests with pool chairs, umbrellas, and general inquiries.
• Promptly report maintenance concerns, including broken furniture, water quality concerns, or equipment issues to management.
• Assist with closing and securing the pool area at the end of the day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

Work is primarily outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.
