Description

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

• Develop and optimize data models
  , curated datasets, and data transformations for analytics and reporting.

• Work extensively with SQL
  , stored procedures, performance tuning, and data validation.

• Implement and manage data ingestion workflows from multiple internal and external sources.

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Application Teams to support data needs.

• Build and maintain data lakes, data warehouses
  , and metadata documentation.

• Work on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (Glue, Redshift, Snowflake, Big Query, Synapse, etc.).

• Implement data quality rules
  , governance, lineage, and monitoring frameworks.

• Develop batch and real-time data pipelines using Spark, Kafka, or similar technologies
  .

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  , architecture diagrams, and deployment scripts.

• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and optimize systems for scalability and performance.

• 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.

• Strong expertise in SQL
  , data modeling, and performance optimization.

• Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DBT, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.).

• Experience with
  Python or Scala for data processing and automation.

• Experience with
  big data frameworks
  :
  Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive.

• Familiarity with streaming technologies
  :
  Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hub.

• Strong experience in one or more cloud data platforms
  :

• AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR)

• Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks)

• GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc)

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Kimball, Star/Snowflake schema).

• Experience with
  CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

• Experience working in Agile development environments.
