This position involves planning and delivering customer support services, including installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. Key functions may include:

  • Diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer-reported incidents,
  • Planning and analyzing work processes,
  • Researching and reporting on trends and patterns of problems,
  • Developing training materials and conducting training sessions on computing/information systems,
  • Maintaining problem tracking databases,
  • Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware and software,
  • Performing backup and recovery operations,
  • Maintaining property accountability for all IT equipment and software,
  • Conducting inventories of IT equipment as requested by the Project Manager,
  • Consulting with users to identify needs and requirements,
  • Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses,
  • Preparing business cases, and
  • Applying information security and cybersecurity policies rigorously.
  • Additional responsibilities may include supporting the Client's eProcurement system, which is part of its SAP-based enterprise resource planning system. Support tasks may involve retrieving data, troubleshooting applications, setting up printers, managing stored procedures, and maintaining tables as needed.

    Minimum experience required:

    • Six (6) years of progressive experience in Information Processing, with at least three (3) years specialized in hardware/software solutions, including two (2) years of hands-on experience in installation, diagnosis, and customer training.
    • Certification as Help Desk personnel is required for IAT-II positions, which must meet IAT and CE certification standards.

    Security and certification requirements:

    • Possession of an active IT-II security clearance or a current NACLC at the time of proposal submission.
    • Compliance with DoD 8570 baseline certification for Category IAT Level II Computing Environment, including cybersecurity and IA roles.
