Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Green Oaks, IL (100% Onsite)
Rate: $60 - $65/hr
Duration: 1 Year Contract (with possible extensions)
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Contract Type: W2 (must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship, no C2C/1099)

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with hands-on experience managing projects related to Generative AI and/or Generative AI Cybersecurity programs. This role involves orchestrating complex IT initiatives within defined scopes, budgets, and timelines, collaborating with technical teams, product stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Develop, execute, and manage IT projects focusing on Generative AI, AI/ML, and NLP technologies. Define goals, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business needs.

Technical Collaboration: Interact effectively with architects, developers, and product teams. Demonstrate high-level technical understanding of AI/ML, NLP, and Generative AI concepts.

Change Management: Adapt quickly to emerging trends, evolving technologies, and new processes in the Generative AI landscape.

Scope & Risk Management: Assess scope changes, address issues and risks, and secure leadership buy-in, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Performance Tracking: Measure progress against plans and budgets, communicate status, and produce reports for stakeholders.

Resource Coordination: Assign tasks to cross-functional teams and ensure efficient resource utilization to meet milestones.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and executives to gain approvals, manage expectations, and gather lessons learned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years in project management, business systems analysis, or software deployment.
- At least 3 years managing projects, preferably in high-tech environments.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Generative AI/ML/NLP projects preferred.
- Understanding of AI architectures, frameworks, and cybersecurity implications.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-changing tech landscape.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
