Compensation Range: $17.00-$18.50 per hour

Building/district technology maintenance and support;
Chromebook administration/support, help desk, technical support, maintain/troubleshoot computer equipment for the district; and perform related duties as required or assigned.

• First response to help desk tickets for building level needs during the school year and District level response during the summer.
• Install/maintain/support of hardware including monitors, computers, Chromebooks, loaner devices, projectors, printers, copiers, etc. as needed.
• Assist in reviewing computer hardware and software needs for the building/district at the direction of the Technology Director.
• Generate and communicate new student accounts, passwords, 's, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director.
• Manage user accounts (Novell and Google)
• Repair physical damage to end-user devices such as: screen repair, OS issues, motherboard or other parts replacement
• Maintain student Chromebook records
  • Device asset and serial number, device inventory
  • Student account information
  • Device maintenance records and insurance information

• Experience with a range of software and operating systems in an education environment, including Google Suite for Education, Google Admin, Windows, Microsoft Office, and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge and experience in working with computer operations (hardware and operating systems), computer installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, PC/Windows preferred
• Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team.
• Sense of humor, flexibility, calm under pressure, openness to new ideas, initiative, and resourcefulness.

Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
