• Receive claims and confirm policy coverage while acknowledging the claim
• Investigate claims to determine validity and compensability, filing necessary documentation with state agencies
• Establish reserves and authorize payments within reserving authority limits
• Develop and manage detailed action plans with case managers to reduce overall claim costs
• Communicate claim status effectively with customers and claimants

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience and claim handling
• Self‑Insured Certificate is a plus
• Multi‑jurisdictional licensures and experience preferred, especially in NY, CA, IL, FL, TX
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with claims administration, case management, and cost containment solutions in Workers’ Compensation
• Ability to assist team members in developing claims knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
