Overview
Portland, Oregon - Traditional Labor Associate at Fisher Phillips. The Portland office seeks an associate with 2-5 years of traditional labor experience. The ideal candidate will have collective bargaining and contract administration experience, including grievance arbitration experience. Prior experience defending and prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board is preferred. Candidate with some employment litigation will be considered.
Responsibilities- Provide traditional labor practice services for clients
- Handle collective bargaining and contract administration tasks
- Manage grievances and arbitrations
- 2-5 years of traditional labor experience
- Experience with collective bargaining, contract administration, and grievance arbitration
- Preferred NLRB unfair labor practice handling; some employment litigation experience is a plus
- Admission to the Oregon Bar and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong writing and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
