Position
Seeking an Assistant State’s Attorney to join the Bond County State’s Attorney’s Office. If you are interested, please submit a resume and cover letter. Submitted resumes and cover letters will be reviewed, and will continue until a hire is made.
Prior experience in prosecution is advantageous but not required. The candidate’s caseload will be diverse and provide the candidate many opportunities to grow and advance knowledge and skill.
SalarySalary: Current starting salary for the Assistant State’s Attorney will range from $80,000.00-$ based on experience. The Assistant State’s Attorney will be provided health insurance benefits, as well as contributions to IMRF.
DutiesDuties: The duties of the Assistant State’s Attorney will be to assist in the prosecution of all actions, suits, indictments and prosecutions, civil and criminal, in the Circuit Court of the County, in which the People of the State or County may be concerned, as well as to assist in the carrying out of all other duties imposed by law on the State’s Attorney.
- Primary duties will include Juvenile cases (Abuse/Neglect, MRAI, Truancy, and Delinquency), traffic, DUI’s and FOIA duties.
Licensure: The Assistant State’s Attorney must be authorized to practice law in the State of Illinois.
