Overview
The Portland, Oregon office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire an employment litigation associate to join our Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 1–3 years of experience looking to grow a practice under the mentorship of talented partners. We are looking for the next team member to join our community, someone who thrives in a hybrid work environment and has a growth mindset.
Responsibilities- Drafter and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
- Drafter motions
- Taking depositions or assisting senior attorneys prepare depositions; defending depositions is a plus but not required
- Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- 1–3 years of litigation experience with some focus in employment law preferred but not required
- Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills
- Admission to the Oregon Bar and a JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team
