About the Position
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple large-scale, utility solar projects throughout Central and Southern Illinois. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving project execution, mentoring and directing Project Managers, and ensuring the overall financial health and successful delivery of assigned projects.
The Senior Project Manager will act as a key representative of the company in client, owner, subcontractor, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgets. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, renewable energy construction environment and has a strong background in utility-scale solar.
Requirements
Experience:5+ years of experience managing utility-scale solar construction projectsDemonstrated success overseeing multiple large projects simultaneouslyIndustry Background:Electrical contracting and renewable energy (utility-scale solar required)Leadership:Proven ability to lead and mentor Project Managers and project teamsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsProject Responsibilities:Full P&L responsibility and financial oversightSchedule management, risk mitigation, and performance reportingExperience representing the contractor in executive-level and client-facing meetingsLocation:Projects primarily located in Central and Southern IllinoisAbility to travel to project sites as requiredBenefits
