contract maintenance manager iii – cbre government & defense services
this position provides oversight, direction, and coordination for all operations and maintenance (o&m) activities at the assigned jobsite to ensure adherence to contractual objectives. The role supervises skilled trades workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.
primary job functions- perform o&m management administration functions, handling a variety of actions and problems relating to assigned contract(s).
- monitor management plans designed to accomplish contractual objectives and provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades, and crafts.
- responsible for scheduling work to be performed.
- responsible for submitting various monthly progress reports according to contract and j&j requirements.
- manage and commit contract resources; monitor budgets on assigned contracts.
- responsible for safety of all personnel on job, including sub-personnel, compliance with environmental standards and quality of work performed.
- conduct training of staff, as well as safety meetings and briefings.
- research and address customer and employee complaints.
- work in field performing maintenance of hvac systems and related contract management tasks.
- additional duties as required.
- high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years verifiable experience in a healthcare business occupancy medical facility o&m.
- 5 years verifiable experience servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings, including management of a diversified workforce responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of commercial building infrastructure systems.
- must be knowledgeable with various codes and standards applicable to the o&m tasks covered by the pws, tjc, nfpa, epa, and osha codes and standards.
- knowledgeable and skilled in operation, repair, and maintenance of hvac systems, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, fire systems and security systems.
- knowledge of osha safety regulations and ppe procedures.
- ability to conduct accident investigations and safety inspections.
- ability to read, write, speak and understand english.
- knowledge of microsoft office suites and basic computer skills.
- strong written and oral communication skills.
