ILoca Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Full Service Semi-trailer Department Director to lead our service operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, driving profitability, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management:
- Oversee, manage, and direct service department employees to achieve maximum production while controlling costs and meeting profit objectives
- Hire, train, develop, and motivate service department staff while monitoring their performance
- Support and mentor employees to help them achieve success in their roles
- Represent the company with the highest standards of ethics and integrity
Operations & Performance:
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and ensure they are met
- Develop and monitor budgets for the service department and inform management of variances
- Maintain daily sales and production records as required by management
- Seek ways to improve business operations efficiency and customer service
- Ensure proper repair techniques are being used across all service operations
- Stay current on product changes and new products
- Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles
Customer Relations:
- Ensure common courtesy is shown to all customers by every service department employee
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
- Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, and with genuine concern
- Ensure the service department meets all customer satisfaction and financial goal
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all necessary shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service department operations
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Company Culture:
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Ten or more years of experience in the semi-trailer industry
- Seven or more years of experience in management
- Experience managing 10+ employees preferred
