Safety Sensitive Position:

The Director of Operations has primary responsibility for the site’s day-to-day operations, including warehousing, production, and shipping, and works with site leadership to implement strategic plans that drive operational excellence and achieve business objectives. Job duties include leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team (up to five direct reports), driving tactical execution through KPI implementation and tracking, implementing technically sound improvements to modernize the workforce and production/warehouse processes, and strategically aligning the site for growth and/or other needs pertinent to the business.

• Leadership and Culture:
  Serve as the site figurehead, driving a safety-first (HSE) culture and operational excellence across the business unit. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that operates with accountability, collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset. Ensure individual and site goals are defined, monitored, and tracked, with annual performance reviews and development plans in place for every employee.

  Deliver superior service to internal and external customers by responding to inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner. Participate in all customer visits including audits, tours, and presentations, and represent Odyssey at conferences, trade shows, and on-site engagements.
• Operations and Performance:
  Partner with site functional leaders to ensure all warehousing, production, and shipping activities meet customer requirements and business performance metrics.
