Welder

Overview

Repairer/Welder position based in Lautoka is responsible for the upgrading of containers gated into the depot to Institute of International Containers Lessors (IICL) and food quality standards.

• Upgrade container to IICL and food quality standards
• Welding, fabrication, and painting of containers according to the required standard and specifications
• Will be required to undertake carpentry works related to container repair standards and specifications
• Stock takes on the materials and equipment in the repair bay as assigned by the Supervisor and Depot Manager
• Practice Housekeeping and Occupational Health and Safety at all times
• When required, will be assigned other job task apart from the role by the Supervisor and the Depot Manager
• Ensure to follow the company policy at all times

• Certificate in welding and fabrication
• 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to health and safety
• The ability to follow procedures
