Maintenance Supervisor –

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the development and management of maintenance processes and personnel at our facility to bring world-changing ingredients to market for the largest global pet food manufacturers and the highest growth pet food startups.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a critical role in building a best‑in‑class next generation ingredient processing and distribution enterprise. You will be instrumental in developing an organization aligned on safety, quality, and efficiency by implementing best‑in‑class maintenance management practices. Your first area of focus will be to implement maintenance management processes and procedures that will enable Chippin to deliver $10M+ of quality product in the first 12 months of active site operations.

You will also play a critical role during installation and commissioning of equipment, collaborating with vendors, finance, quality, R&D, and engineering to ensure the integrity of the cold chain, minimize downtime, maintain safety standards, and keep ERP systems maintained.

• Creates and sustains a safety culture throughout the organization
• Leads up to 6 direct reports in shift maintenance and maintenance support positions
• Drives compliance with federal, state and local regulations relating to processing human grade products
• Ensures production of quality products are at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet daily demand
• Drives continuous improvement in the plant’s manufacturing processes by implementing sound maintenance policies, programs, and procedures
• Collaborates with the supply chain, operations, and quality teams on maintenance related matters
• Develops direct reports by way of pay reviews, resource management, performance management and relevant training
• Provides input into the budgeting process for maintenance related expenses
• Controls resources and provides input to policy formation in area of responsibility
• Other related duties as assigned

• Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing experience, including management experience
• 2 or more years of supervisory experience

~$70,000 base salary + benefits (Health, Vision, Dental including orthodontics, Life insurance)
