Location: Hampshire

Hines Supply, a Division of US LBM is seeking Wall Assemblers for our location in Hampshire, IL.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 3:30PM - 1:30AM

Wage: $18.00+ Per Hour Depending On Experience

How You Will Spend Your Day As A Wall Assembler:

  • Experience in rough carpentry is a plus, but not required.
  • Physical. Ability to stand for 8+ hours per work shift. Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.
  • Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 75lbs throughout the work shift.
  • Cut and measure lumber to correct lengths and nails together wall panel components.
  • Operates table saw, chop saw, radial arm saw, and other tools to cut material to proper length.
  • Uses nail gun to nail boards together and to nail sheathing onto wall frame.
  • With or without help, pushes, pulls, or lifts wall panels from assembly table to cart or staging area.
  • Cleans up work area on a regular basis to avoid stepping on or tripping over scrap materials.
  • Maintains good communications with Wall Panel Lead and other Wall Panel Builders to have a cohesive and productive work team.
  • Learns and applies appropriate safety regulations including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to see and discern when panel is not built to specifications and to make modifications, as necessary.
