3rd Shift; Production Worker

Tyrolit is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of grinding and dressing tools for the metals industry. Since 1919, our innovative tools have made an important contribution to the technological development in many industries.

Radiac is looking to grow our production team at our Salem, IL facility.

Starting pay for this position is $20.25 per hour; $21.25 per hour after six months and then topping out at the union scale after 1 year, which at this time is $23.91 per hour. In addition, a $2.00 per hour shift premium will be paid for 3rd shift.

In this position, you will be responsible for following work instructions in order to meet production goals and quality standards in a safe manner.

Skills Needed:

• Ability to follow work instructions to meet production goals and quality standards
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to use various measuring instruments
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to read a blueprint
• Familiarity with the use of hand tools

Experience or

Education:

• Prime manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED

Essential

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to exert physical force to push, pull, lift or carry 55 lbs. regularly
