Job Description:

Under general supervision of the Production Lead, ensure machines are working at full capacity while producing quality product. Machine operators make sure machines are well-maintained and perform periodic checks on output. Visually inspect production run and document results. Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.

Hourly rate for this position starts at $23.60/hr with regular pay increases at 3, 6, and 12 months provided attendance and performance are in good standing.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

Perform line set up, start up, operations, closing and changeover of equipment.

Ensure product quality is met throughout the process.

Perform checks and inspections to verify quality.

Perform adjustments as necessary.

Perform machine setups in accordance to applicable procedures and setup sheets.

Accurately complete and maintain all production records.

Report problems to department lead.

Maintain adequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel.

Review and assure appropriate adherence to quality and safety policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as directed by the lead.

Position Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year manufacturing operator experience.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.

Ability to effectively adapt to change.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Ability to stand for long periods of time; to work in confined areas, to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
