Machine Operator

The primary responsibility of the Machine Operator is to run the packaging lines in a safe and efficient manner and keeping quality as a top priority. Must have computer knowledge to maintain correct inventories within the WMS system. Must know the finished goods, bulk and supply item numbers.

• Must be able to operate machines properly, keep machines running & producing efficiently.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
• Responsible to maintain good records including down time.
• Must be able to multitask effectively.
• Must be able to communicate with Supervisors, co-workers and other departments.
• Proficient at routine preventative maintenance as well as changeovers.
• Must be able to use good judgment in the event of the absence of Supervisor or Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
• Lifting requirements are up to 45 pounds
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts
