Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Thu, 5:00am-3:00pm, Fri 5:00am-1:30pm

A privately‑held manufacturing company in Spring Grove, IL that focuses on electrical wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and wire processing is seeking a wire cutter. First‑shift hours are scheduled 5 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and Friday 5 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Voluntary overtime is available 5 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Saturday.

• Identify proper specifications from cut sheets and job orders.
• Manually and digitally set up wire‑cutting machines to job specifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot wire‑cutting machines.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Minimize scraps through proper operation of machines.
• Communicate problems with machine operation and set‑up supervisor.

• High school diploma or relevant work experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to convert between fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read a ruler to 1/64 of an inch.
• Possess practical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Read small print at a distance of 12-18 inches.
• Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
• Work while standing on a concrete floor the majority of time.
• Maintain a brisk pace and meet generally accepted production rates.
