Job Summary

Mac Lean-Fogg is hiring a CNC Operator - 2nd Shift at our Savanna, Illinois manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality components to specification, perform quality checks, and support safe, reliable production.

• Location: Savanna, IL

• Work Arrangement: On-site

• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

• Pay: $16-$19/hour

• Other Compensation: $2.00/hour shift premium

• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

• Overtime: Overtime may be required based on business needs.

• Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.

• Inspect components and ensure they meet established quality requirements.

• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.

• Read and interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.

• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.

• Follow applicable safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive assigned tasks to completion.

• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.

• Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.

• Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Previous industrial manufacturing experience.

This role is performed on-site in a manufacturing environment and involves working with CNC production equipment. Employees are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow applicable safety, environmental, quality, and 5S requirements.
