The Judge Group is seeking a Plant Manager for a food manufacturing client in Monee, IL area!
Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, facilities, and regulatory compliance for the plant
- Develop and manage budgets for labor, materials, overhead, and capital projects
- Establish and implement manufacturing policies and procedures
- Lead efforts in quality assurance, supply chain management, facility layout, equipment selection, and operational support
- Drive productivity improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Monitor daily production requirements and report on high-priority jobs and issues
- Analyze data to identify inefficiencies, waste, or overtime and implement solutions
- Investigate product loss, inventory discrepancies, and low output
- Introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve quality and reduce costs
- Coordinate production scheduling with supervisors and managers
- Recruit, develop, and manage leadership and key manufacturing personnel
- Ensure successful completion of all required audits
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Promote continuous improvement in productivity, quality, customer service, and safety
- Participate in internal auditing programs
- Collaborate with executive and management teams to set and achieve strategic goals
- Represent the organization in community activities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years of senior operations management in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation
- Experience with fast-paced plant operations and high standards for quality
- Continuous Improvement certification a plus
