** Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Executive Director of the Foundation, is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and successful execution of fundraising for their assigned Endeavor Health hospital(s), as well as system fundraising priorities. As the philanthropy leader for the Endeavor hospital(s) they serve, the Executive Director will meet and grow fundraising revenue targets across annual, mid-level, major, principal, and planned giving and special events.
The ED will also staff its foundation Board and its members to drive donor and prospect engagement and philanthropy and support the CDO to engage system Board members. They will collaborate with the AVP Philanthropy Operations and the Philanthropy Operations team to leverage data analytics, donor services, prospect management, communications, and donor relations resources and tools to drive results as well as adopt harmonized processes, vendors and budgets for shared efficiencies.

* What you will do:
*** Provide strategic direction and leadership, including spearheading the planning and execution of comprehensive fundraising initiatives and campaigns, in close consultation with the Chief Development Officer, that align with system and hospital(s) and objectives and goals. Create and manage a detailed annual budget for the foundation, including rigorous revenue forecasting, tracking monthly solicitation activities, and pacing to KPIs. Active engagement in collaborative budgeting process with AVP Philanthropy Operations and Director of Finance.
* Set and meet ambitious fundraising targets and effectively manage and nurture a strong team of professionals across annual and mid-level giving, major and principal giving, planned giving, special events, and Board management. Develop clear, actionable metrics to drive the acquisition, retention and growth of donors and dollars, monitor progress, and ensure accountability to KPIs. Nurture a strong sense of teamwork and respect and an environment of mentoring and support.
* Personally manage a portfolio of major and principal donors. Lead the foundation’s principal gift efforts, taking responsibility for cultivating and securing the largest gifts to the foundation that have significant impacts on our priorities, partnering with physicians, foundation and hospital Board members, and hospital and system leaders. Serve as an articulate, engaging, and passionate spokesperson about the impact of Endeavor, their hospital(s), and their foundation to donors, prospects, and the communities they serve.
* Manage the foundation Board, working with Board and hospital leadership to organize compelling and robust agendas that provide fundraising transparency, meaningful discussion, and activation and inspiration of Board members in peer solicitation, donor and prospect cultivation and stewardship. Support the CDO to similarly engage system Board members.
* Work collaboratively with the AVP Philanthropy Operations and the central team to ensure consistent, coordinated, and effective strategies in fundraising, donor relations, communications, prospect management and pipeline development, and data, analytics, reporting and donor services.
* Serve as a collaborative member of the Development Cabinet to help inform and address all matters of significance to philanthropy at Endeavor Health, including principal giving, gift and naming opportunities, and gift and fiscal policies.
