Harvest Bible Chapel Woodhull (harvestwoodhull.org) seeks an enthusiastic candidate to fill our senior pastor position. Harvest is located in Woodhull, IL roughly three hours southwest of Chicago.

• Fulfills qualifications as Pastor/Elder according to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Exegetical preaching and teaching ability
• Ministry leadership experience
• Three years of pastoral ministry preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• A passion for spiritual growth, congregational shepherding, and community outreach

• Serve as the primary preacher and teacher each Sunday, delivering biblically based sermons
• Provide vision for the current, short-term and long-term direction of the church
• Serve as an elder on elder board
• Develop leaders and volunteers within the church
• Manage the administrative aspects of the church in conjunction with the administrative assistant and elders to ensure the financial wellbeing of the church through budgeting, planning and reporting
• Provide leadership and shepherding to the congregation, ensuring the people remain grounded in the teachings of God’s Word
• Conduct weddings, premarital counseling, funerals, child dedications, baptisms, monthly communion, and church membership classes
• Responsible for the church and creating an environment of encouragement, empowerment, and support. Will be responsible, along with the elders, to hire and terminate staff when necessary
• Oversee, along with the elders, the various church ministries
• Support and advance the mission of Harvest Bible Chapel Woodhull to see people come to know Christ and grow in Christ who Worship Christ, Walk with Christ, Work for Christ, and Witness for Christ

• Annual Salary: $62,500
• 3 Weeks vacation
