A staff nurse is a registered nurse who is responsible for the direct and indirect care of the patients assigned during a given period of time. Adheres to the Nursing standards of care for the department. Works closely with all members of the professional team, medical staff, patients and their families.

• Valid licensure by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or license pending
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS course completion or willing to complete within 6 months of hire
• Ability to lift 75 pounds, good communication skills and ability to work with computerized charting
