This role is perfect for an RVN ready to take the next step in their career, assisting the Head Nurse in driving efficiency, governance, and continuous improvement across the clinical team, while still being hands-on with a varied and rewarding caseload.
Responsibilities- The Deputy Head Nurse will play a key role in supporting colleagues, fostering teamwork, and ensuring excellent standards of patient care.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys the variety of consults, inpatient care, and surgical duties.
- Full-time nurses typically work 4 days per week, with 9-hour shifts
- Weekend rota: 1 in 4

The surgery is equipped with outstanding facilities including two theatres, dental suite with digital and handheld dental x-ray, ultrasound equipment, separate wards for dogs, cats, and small animals, walk-in kennels, in-house laboratory and isolation unit, multiparameter monitors, growing exotic caseload.
