POSITION OVERVIEW
Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicated pediatricians in Naperville, Illinois on a PRN Basis. You will play a vital role in promoting the overall health of the pediatric population and fostering a supportive environment for our patients, families, and our community that will help shape healthy futures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Patient Care:
Delivering exceptional care by diagnosing, treating, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each child’s needs, while being responsive to acute concerns. - Growth, Development & Preventative Health:
Monitoring children’s physical and emotional milestones, offering early intervention and educating families on preventive care for healthy growth and development. - Patient & Family
Education:
Supporting families throughout the full spectrum of the pediatric lifecycle, providing guidance and compassionate care from infancy through adolescence, fostering healthy development, and empowering families with the knowledge they need at each stage. - Documentation:
Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records, adhering to best practice in documentation and healthcare regulations. - Collaboration:
Working closely with support team members, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
- Communicator:
Manages communication with and across patients, families, and caregivers, fosters team collaboration and addresses communication gaps to ensure effective care management. - Advocate:
Supports patients and families and meets them where they are while leveraging resources to ensure coordinated and seamless care. - Collaborative:
Fosters team collaboration to maximize patient care, mentorship, and professional growth. - Tech-Forward:
Embraces technology to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve patient care and communication. - Growth-Orientated:
Fosters growth and learning for patients, families, and colleagues through innovation, adaptability, and skill development. - Family First:
Respects families’ decisions, provides evidence-based care, and aims to keep patients in mainstream settings.
- M.D. or D.O. degree required from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois.
- Current and unrestricted Illinois DEA license.
- Must be Board‑Certified in Pediatrics.
- At least 2 to 3 years of post‑residency experience working in a pediatric setting.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, non‑hierarchical, team‑based environment.
- Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers.
- BLS/ACLS Certification.
- Enjoy a balanced work/life schedule with four in‑clinic days and one dedicated administrative day each week, allowing time for charting, managing inbox tasks, continuing education and more.
