Edward Hospital in Naperville is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Neuro ICU team. This role is ideal for a critical care nurse with strong clinical judgment, a calm approach under pressure, and a passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care in a high-acuity intensive care setting.

The RN will be responsible for managing critically ill patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions, ensuring safe, evidence-based care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Neuro ICU.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac, hemodynamic, and neurological data.
• Administer medications and therapies according to physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and recovery expectations.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

• Active and unencumbered RN License in the State of Illinois.
• Minimum 5 years of Critical Care experience required.
• Demonstrated high-acuity experience in CV ICU or Neuro ICU.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
