We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department with excellence and heart. This is an exciting opportunity for a nursing leader who is driven to enrich lives, inspire teams, and uphold the highest standards of care.

As the Director of Nursing
, you will be responsible for ensuring that all nursing services are delivered in compliance with professional nursing standards, facility policies, and state and federal regulations. You will cultivate a collaborative, high-quality, and efficient work environment where nursing professionals thrive and residents receive exceptional care.

• Lead and oversee all nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices

• Direct day-to-day nursing operations and supervise nursing assistants

• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and reporting requirements

• Foster a compassionate, resident-focused atmosphere for residents and families

• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage

• Ensure accurate documentation of resident care, incidents, and physician orders

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections

• Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges in accordance with policy

• Promote teamwork, professional development, and accountability within the nursing department

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing

• Minimum 2 year of managerial or supervisory experience

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Experience in human resources management, strategic planning, and nursing program development

• A genuine passion for resident-centered, compassionate care
