Director of Nursing

Beecher Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated nursing team as Director of Nursing (DON).

• Base pay: $/yr - $/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

As the Director of Nursing, you will ensure all nursing services comply with professional standards, facility policies, and state and federal regulations, creating a collaborative, high‑quality environment for staff and residents.

• Lead and oversee all nursing policies, procedures, and clinical practices.
• Direct day‑to‑day nursing operations and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Foster a compassionate, resident‑focused atmosphere for residents and families.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage.
• Ensure accurate documentation of resident care, incidents, and physician orders.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections.
• Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges in accordance with policy.
• Promote teamwork, professional development, and accountability within the nursing department.

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in long‑term care.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in human resources management, strategic planning, and nursing program development.
