Maternal & Child Health RN

The Fayette County Health Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. Working under the supervision of our Director of Maternal Child Health, this individual will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a supportive environment for a diverse client base.

This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, the ability to collaborate with our team, and a commitment to compassion and respect for our clients.

• Assisting in our Better Birth Outcomes, Healthworks, and WIC programs to offer consistent care to infants, children, and birthing individuals
• Collaborating with our home visiting team and events
• Collaborating with community health organizations to connect clients with a wide range of resources
• Administering immunizations to individuals from infancy to adulthood
• Drawing blood for lab work

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Illinois license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong professional communication skills
• Previous experience in maternal and child health is preferred

Pay: $26-$30 an hour, based on experience
