As a key member of the facility's leadership team, you'll play an important role in overseeing nursing operations, supporting staff, and ensuring residents receive high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing department while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.

• Oversee daily nursing operations to promote quality care, resident safety, and clinical excellence.

• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and best clinical practices.

• Provide training, guidance, and support to nursing staff, including onboarding and professional development.

• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.

• Oversee care planning, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives.

• Conduct daily rounds to assess operations, address concerns, and support the delivery of quality care.

• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.

• Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and medical records.

• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by facility leadership.

We're seeking a motivated and compassionate nursing leader who is committed to supporting staff and delivering exceptional resident care.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Previous nursing leadership experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.

• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and nursing best practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop nursing staff.

• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach.

• Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
