Must have a current, valid Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.

Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and respect when caring for residents.

Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

Ability to take and record vital signs and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse.

Must be able to follow care plans, facility policies, and infection control procedures.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and protect residents’ rights.

Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with resident transfers, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings and facility onboarding requirements.
