Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Northfield, IL is excited to announce an opening for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are looking for an experienced technician with a strong work ethic who is dedicated to their chosen profession and passionate about providing the highest quality of care for patients. You will advance and fully utilize your technical skills in an encouraging environment that supports ongoing professional growth in Emergency and Specialty Medicine.

Pay Range: $23.20 - $43.70/hour

• This pay band is dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Competitive Shift Differentials: Earn more with our shift differentials!

• Weekday Night (Mon-Fri 6p to 8a): $4.00
• Weekend Day (Sat-Sun 8a to 6p): $4.00
• Weekend Night (Sat-Sun 6p to 8a): $5.50

As An Triage Certified Veterinary Technician, You Will

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVs and advanced catheters such as Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine
• Mentor and train other co-workers
• Feel gratification nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents
