Shift: Part Time Sat-Sun, 8:00 p.m to 8:00 a.m.

Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Control Technician to join our team at our innovative filtration technology facility located in Hebron, Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to ensure the highest standards of quality are met for all our products.

Quality Control Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform required in-process inspections of all molded parts according to quality control plans.

  • Test parts at the beginning and middle of the shift based on job specifications.

  • Input measurement data and numbers into the BPCS system.

  • Maintain and document start-up shots and samples.

  • Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure full customer satisfaction and compliance.

  • Follow the non-conformance procedure when necessary.

  • Communicate any quality issues or concerns promptly with the team lead and technicians.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions.

Quality Control Technician Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of job-related experience.

  • Injection molding experience is desired.

  • Basic math skills are necessary to use scales and measure weights accurately.

  • Must be able to read and write English and possess good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Knowledge of various measurement equipment/tools, including calipers, micrometers, smart scopes, scales, and fixtures, to verify product quality.

  • Ability to lift items ranging from 1 to 30 pounds.

  • Ability to stand/walk for up to twelve (12) hours per shift.
