Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications for the following positions on a contract basis:

Title:
Defining fundamental principles of vesicle fusion using infectious and genetic disease models
Funding Agency: DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance
Minimum educational qualification: Doctoral degree in Science or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent (as prescribed by the funding agency)
Desirable Qualifications- Candidates with PhD degree and technical proficiency in one of the relevant areas (biochemistry, microscopy, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology) and research experience are preferred.
- Training in cell culture workflow, handling of pathogens, infection studies, and BSL2/BSL3 practices are highly desirable.
Number of posts: 1
Fellowship amount: Rs. 56,000 + HRA, as applicable.
Tenure of the post: 1 year. Position may be renewable after a year subject to candidate’s performance.
