Job Description & How to Apply Below

The Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics Group in Argonne National Laboratory’s Chemical Sciences and Engineering Division invites applications for a Postdoctoral Appointee position. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and apply new measurement capabilities for investigating chemical reactivity in water droplets using time-resolved optical and X-ray spectroscopy. The successful candidate will join a collaborative project with the Time-Resolved Research Group in the X-ray Science Division at the Advanced Photon Source (APS).

The project aims to establish an innovative approach for studying solution-phase chemistry with high temporal resolution. The Postdoctoral Appointee will lead the development of a novel laser-excitation scheme for solution samples delivered by a drop-on-demand droplet source.
