JOB SUMMARYThe Sunnyside Retail Store Supervisor will support day‑to‑day operations of the dispensary in accordance with state law and company standards. This position directs staff workflow, performs opening and closing procedures, manages customer escalations, reinforces team culture, and acts as an ambassador for the company’s mission to normalize, professionalize, and revolutionize cannabis.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Experience leading a team of hourly members; onboard, train, coach, and provide feedback.
- Knowledge of retail fundamentals, inventory management, opening/closing procedures, and sales goal achievement.
- Advanced decision‑making, active listening, and problem‑solving skills.
- In‑depth cannabis product knowledge and industry compliance standards.
- Ability to manage a dynamic role combining teamwork, technical skills, and customer service.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, register preparation, inventory reconciliation, and reporting.
- Facilitate training and onboarding of Lead Wellness Advisors and Wellness Advisors, coaching on selling and cross‑selling techniques.
- Address employee questions and concerns; communicate resource needs to management.
- Provide real‑time coaching and feedback; document and escale employee relations issues.
- Create morning rosters, break sheets, and delegate daily responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, state and local laws.
- Manage escalated customer concerns and respond to complex product questions.
- Investigate and resolve cash, POS, or product discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with POS systems.
- Verify inventory counts and cash deposit totals; reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain inventory of marketing assets such as fliers, merchandise, and promotional materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years’ experience in customer service.
- 1+ year experience leading or mentoring a team; cannabis experience preferred.
- Strong ability to learn and apply technical and product information in a consultative manner.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills.

PAY RANGE$22.75 – $23.25 USD per hour
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
