Full Time Security Officer – Belleville, IL

Salary: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr

Belleville, IL (Interview location: 141 Market Place, Fairview Heights, IL)

Interview schedule:
Every Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am. Proper interview attire is required.

• At least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and up/down flights of stairs. The position is about 75%–80% standing/walking.
• Position will be up to about 75%–80% of the time outside.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. All positions include driver certification.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, or willingness to complete the GED program within six months.
• Average computer skills needed; above‑average computer skills are a plus.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required (public transportation is not available at most site locations).
• Reliable working communication device (cell phone) required.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills are a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must exhibit great diligence and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and use proper de‑escalation techniques.
• Must be available for 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends and holidays; day‑shift positions are not available.
• All candidates must participate in pre‑employment screening, including drug screening and background investigation.
